В первую очередь, дерево – это экологически чистый материал, лишенный вредных примесей и не выделяющий в атмосферу дома вредных компонентов. В современных условиях насыщенности атмосферы далеко не безвредными примесями это крайне важный аргумент в пользу выбора именно этого материала.
Можно сколько угодно уговаривать себя и других, что пластиковые элементы ничуть не хуже деревянных, но, тем не менее, каждый человек видит и ощущает разницу между бездушным синтетическим пластиком и древесиной.
Деревянный плинтус надежен, долговечен и прочен: его крайне сложно сломать, у него не отваливаются дополнительные элементы фурнитуры, его не нужно бесконечно подклеивать. Такой плинтус можно разобрать (если только он не приклеен на «жидкие гвозди» или клей) и использовать несколько раз без всякого ухудшения для его внешнего вида.
Дерево требует ровных стен и полов, но если даже есть кривизна, этот дефект можно устранить с помощью дополнительных затирок. В то же время за счет жесткости деревянный напольный плинтус выступает в роли самостоятельного фиксатора. Например, будучи зафиксированным на стене из гипсокартона, он просто не даст ей деформироваться при возникновении перепадов температурного режима или больших колебаний влажности.
При этом деревянный плинтус может быть гибким. За счет особых технологий изготавливается либо радиусный плинтус, либо плинтус из дерева, подвергшегося вакуумной обработке и застывающего на воздухе. Таким образом, его можно использовать на поверхностях фактически любой кривизны.
Деревянный плинтус для пола создает эффект законченности пространства дома, где царит уют, достаток и спокойствие.
